We provide Podiatry care for patients from infants to seniors. We offer services ranging from routine podiatry care to surgical corrections of lower extremity pathology. Desert Podiatry Group offers the only three-dimensional digital orthotic casting technology in the Coachella Valley; leading to the manufacture of the highest quality orthotic available today.
Desert Podiatry Group provides state of the art wound care to the residents of the community. This includes but is not limited to the treatment of venous, arterial, neuropathic, and pressure ulcers by both invasive and non-invasive medical and surgical techniques. Our lower extremity hyperbaric oxygen chamber has achieved great results thus enabling us to heal long-standing chronic wounds and ulcers in a timely fashion. Our use of xenografts has proved invaluable in the resolution of diabetic ulcers.
In addition to providing routine and diabetic foot care to the ambulatory members of our local community; our doctors provide treatment to those of your patients who may reside in nursing homes or board and care facilities. The doctors of Desert Podiatry Group are also happy to provide house calls for your patients who may be confined to home.
Desert Podiatry Group accepts most insurance plans including private insurance Medicare and Medi-cal. In addition, we welcome consults for patients covered by Desert Medical Group HMO, Premier HMO, and Empire Physicians medical Group PPO.
Dr. Rothstein was a former Chief of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at the Long Beach Veterans Administration Hospital. As such he was responsible for the care of thousands of American's veterans. He received training in diabetic foot care at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas, and is a member of the American Association of Diabetes Educators. Dr. Rothstein is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine and is a highly skilled practitioner.
